Is this going to be as simple as a name change in your database or are we going to have to use a transfer/money to bring Harris in?

I think the OP may have meant if you had Noble as your coach in round 7 will your coach automatically change to Harris without costing you one of your fifty changes (as you would still have the Salford coach)? Or would you be forced to make one of your fifty changes in order to still have a functioning coach as part of your selection?

Won't affect me but it seems a bit harsh if some people are forced to use up an allocated change simply because a coach got binned by his club.

And as SouthStander has already stated it will cost you one of your fifty changes.

Noble is still left in the system to compensate the 'a full team selection is required to score points' rule. The reason behind leaving him in is merely due to the number of complaints it would generate BUT people who still have Noble as their coach won't gain/lose any points respectively for that position.

I could be wrong but I'm sure in the past, a change of coach mid-season has just meant an automatic change from the old coach to the new one.

I don't see anything in the rules to say anything different.

The way that the system is set up (and always has been set up) means that this is not possible, so I think that on this occasion you are probably wrong. Each player/coach is an individual entity within the system and we can't just replace one coaches name with another or the new coach would retain the previous coaches record. The data from Fantasy is used in our much used statistics site where Mr Noble has his own entry and his own history. If a player retires then you don't automatically get his replacement, why should coaching be any different?
