Visit //www.geofflee.net for details of my novels 'One Winter', 'One Spring', 'One Summer' 'One Autumn' 'Two Seasons'. and "Three Good Years" All six feature Rugby League against a humourous Lancashire/Yorkshire background and are inspired by the old saying about work: "They could write a book about this place. It would be a best seller."

Where to buy rugby league books locally now. : Thu Feb 03, 2011 10:04 pm
For a long time Dewsbury Books was the best place locally to buy books on Rugby League. With its closure though, two things have happened to fill the gap. WH Smith in Dewsbury have increased their stock of books and Dawsons Books are now selling Rugby League books on Dewsbury Market (Wednesday, Friday and Saturday and at a 10% discount too).
One book they are both stocking is "No Sand Dunes In Featherstone" which includes some 70 interviews with people associated with the game in West Yorkshire. Among them are Peter Fox, Carl Gibson, Eddie Illingworth and Frank Wagstaff, all with a strong connection with the Batley club.
