Have to agree with weighman.
In the first half we looked lethargic and lackluster. I thought when we got back to 24 -26, we might have kicked but instead we looked very jaded. Our goal line defence, especially on the right was woeful, Hunslet must have thought it was Christmas and we were giving away tries for presents to whoever asked!

IMO you can forget that happening. Speechless at that poop show, we wait all this bloody time to watch a live game and get served up that rubbish.

Well played Hunslet, more hungry, more skilful and more league1 basics than Horne and his SL ideas. Dreadful does not do it justice.

Barrow on that showing today will rack up a cricket score.

3 tickets purchased, a few beers before the game and first time back at the Keepmoat since last year. Game to be played in the memory of a top bloke, Pete Bell, really looking forward to the occasion.

The Mother & Father of all let downs. The galling thing is that apart from Matty and Aaron York they rest of them gave the impression of not giving a monkeys. Forget any notion of play off success on that performance.

The highlight was a catch up with Wanderer :thumb:

Matty Beharrell certainly wears his heart on his sleeve.

I can't fault his effort and will to win but getting sin-binned in the way he did was indefensible. It was obvious it was coming and someone should have had a word in his ear to stop it going any further. Very disappointing.

I thought we were going to win when we got back to within two points against what looked like a tiring Hunslet team but they picked themselves up and got firing again.

Defensively we've been poor all season and nothing changed today. Sadly, our performances have got worse as the season has gone on.

We'll make the play-offs although I doubt Hunslet will fear us. If we can get back to where we were earlier in the season we'll still have a chance but based on today, we won't.

I don't know why you all bother.Nothing will ever change whilst this lot is in charge. How long can a coach keep his job when a team continually under performs. The Rovers are also suffering from the pretense of support from those at the top. At least they have a new coach but he is having to play trialists to make up his team when we are one week away from the first game of the season. That's what you call ambition from a club that promised promotion for both teams within five years and how many years ago was that promise made. It's such a shame because the supporters are crying out for success and the turnstiles would whizz round if only some commitment was shown. Sadly the false promises will continue indefinitely until an individual or organisation takes over with success at the top of the agenda.

That really does sum up how poor the performance was

Joking aside, it was good to have a catch up.

Welcome to the forum DD. Thanks for the news. I hope the injury is nothing too serious and that he's back soon. We certainly missed him.
