What's pink & hard first thing in the morning?
The financial time crossword

I went to the game and I have to say Donny have this thing in their game where they get drawn into playing how the opposition play, it was mostly a slugfest down the middle with both sets of forwards just cancelling each other out, plenty of knock on's and a skewed "6 again" count in Hunslets favour, Hunslet should feel the most disappointed from the game with the amount of ball they had in Donnys 20 in the first half that they didn't manage any scores.
Not a pretty game at all, but if donny had played their own game and moved the ball about, it would have been a more favourable result, saying that based on both teams performance yesterday, the draw was a fare result. Hopefully get back to winning ways at Coventry next week.

The draw was a fair result in my opinion , the amount of restart sets given against us by the appalling referee was alarming.
If I remember correctly we only had one restart set , where as Hunslet must have been close to double figures............ the same with penalties.

I was surprised at our lack of ball movement ,however our line defence was outstanding given the amount of time Hunslet had the ball in our 20.

We had a bad day at the office and I don't think we could play that poorly again and come away with a result .
I laughed after watching GT high fiving his assistant when he thought he had the game won when they took the lead , only for us to score and level the match.

I thought Matty was well under par given previous performances and his kicking game was awful, however he saved our butts with his last minute scamper by the sticks.

I was impressed with Sam Smeaton's performance , he was my motm.

I don't know if Peltier and Douglas were carrying knocks , both seamed way off from previous games .
I wondered if Wilkinson was injured as he has been outstanding for us and cant see any other reason why we wasn't playing.

Coventry wont be easy ,especially if we perform like that.

COYD .

War does not determine who is right - only who is left.

Thank God I'm an atheist.

Yes Wilkinson was standout vs North Wales...
Didn't go but it seems that their forwards won that part of the game and our sparkly backs didn't sparkle.
We were fortunate that Hunslet were without 3 important players...fullback Jimmy Watson, Vila Halafihi and of course halfback Dominic Brambani.
So no reason to be overly satisfied...Hunslet are now as good as us and a bit more to come.

There are still at least 2 players making the side that I don't understand what they do...they certainly don't score tries...so figure it out, no names needed.

Players disappear in our set up without a reason why and next thing they are history...for example where is Boas?

After a sensational performance against NWC...what happened?...odd selections.

Wavering a bit S-O .

I donot think Watson has been playing that well . We have a scrum half & 6 playing well . I donot think he is a full back or acting half back !

I don't think he is a good enough 6, his break making is not at Ben Johnston's level...but his general play is certainly better than many...so he would make my side.
2 other players would most certainly not and I am surprised it is only me saying this...
I am very happy with all our new recruits and the side has great potential, but think the 13 can be picked as a stronger side.
