Is the annual playing surface refurbishment taking place this year ?. Two Doncaster based (home fixture) RL teams with no home playing venue for approx 6-8 weeks. If the Rovers (fingers crossed} achieve promotion they will surely want the pitch to be in top condition for the start of their season.

Yes, the circumstances will be much the same again this year with the first option being to request that home fixtures which drop during that period can be reversed.

The problem there is requiring goodwill from opponents who may not wish to accommodate the request. The other alternative is then to take 'home' fixtures on the road.

I saw the post from Weighman regarding the fixtures and thought it was relevant to ask, it just makes the fixtures a guessing game until the 'home' games in June and part of July are sorted to where and when.

That is assuming that spectators can actually witness games by attending.

We will know more about the fixtures on Sunday then its down to Boris on the 22/2/2021.
