Another one signed up in Mason Tonks and he looks like a good one, having both Super League and Championship experience.Well done GT and CH in attracting him to Donny. Squad really starting to take shape now.

Apparantly 3 of the new signings were wanted by Sheffield, and Mark Aston doesnt sign donkeys. They didnt want to go full time at the present time so opted for us for this season. I am really starting to look forward to the next year. This season has been a poor season so i have forgot about this one (even though i will be at Whitehaven this Saturday) and put it to bed, and i hope to hit the ground running next season. Only time will tell.
I have seen the message from the ticket sales office today and the club have sold more season tickets this year than last year. Well done everyone.

The two lads you have signed from Featherstone, Matty Nicholson & Mason Tonks, should both go well in Ch1 if they are healthy. Nicholson in particular has had terrible luck with injuries, 3 years in a row he has missed most of the season through injury. Fev signed him 2 years ago after he ripped us apart at York, he has a really good offload game, obviously the big question mark is getting fit & staying fit. Tonks showed flashes in limited opportunities for Fev his year & didnt look out of place at Championship level.

Really liked Brett Waller but he never looked the same player after his long injury lay off.

I'm certainly starting to feel a lot more optimistic about next season and am starting to see some potential with the signings so far.

A few early wins and a bit of confidence and who knows?

I look forward to playing them tbh, none of the players they have signed hold any particular fear for me, and in the case of Emmett we can even count on a couple of penalties.
