Oh yes!
A Shropshire Selection:-
Hobson's Town Crier 4.5% ABV, Bronze Medal Winner GBBF 2011, yum yum from both my partner and I, plus Holden's Golden Glory 4.4%, not quite as delicious but very palatable - both beautifully kept, at the Ship Inn, Highley.
A powerful Bewdley Station Porter 6.0% ABV, a bit sweet but went down too well, at the Railwayman's Arms on Bridgnorth station on the Severn Valley Railway ( a real ale drinker's mecca ). Had it not been 10 mins to the last train I would have been tempted to partake of several others.
On to Thursday and a rather reserved Three Tuns Clerics' Cure, a stonking good IPA, which also went down well with the other half and a Three Tuns' Stout, rich, creamy and smooth, at the Three Tuns ( where else? ), adjacent to the brewery at Bishops' Castle.
I'll be back...especially when I missed the Six Bells, a reputedly better, brewpub on the edge of the village.
