Wow the Coach/Manager of a sports team fails to see eye to eye with one of his players. Players moves on, never heard the like of it before.
I don't think Kyle losing the captaincy is an issue, coaches see different qualities in players that us as fans do not.
I know Ryan Boyle was not proved to be highly regarded by fans , however as the saying goes "New broom sweeps clean" and RH will have wanted to impress his own style of play on the team from the get go.
With us utilising the DR and supposedly having so many players from Hull on long term loans, I figured Jez Litten would be our starting hooker, partnered by Kieran Cross as our style of play under GT was too one dimensional and Litten and Cross's speed around the ruck would help with a more expansive style of play ,which we have seen RH try to develop over the last two years.
However the less said about DR the better , ........................... in my eyes Boyle was a player with proven Super League experience and would carry the respect of the players and provide a new voice in the dressing room.
Weather Kk agreed with the decision or not is irrelevant ,he is one of a small number of parts that make up a team and I am sure he would have been man enough to accept the coaches decision.
RH is the coach and he lives or dies by his results on the field , implying him and Kyle didn't see eye to eye is not an issue in my book , I am sure everyone has a person they work with who they don't see eye to eye with but you get on and do your job.
Kyle will i'm sure be an asset to whichever club he signs for , but for fans to say they are staying away next year because a certain player has left is ridiculous , We should be looking forward to next season and awaiting new signings not moaning about players leaving.
