Went to the CLIFFORD beer festival yesterday. had a great day. there was two toads which were supposed to be on and we're crossed out. hearing rumours that the toad brewery has gone bust, i hope thats not true. they finally had a fantastic pint in the m&r chocolate stout.

I believe that a re-structuring is in process with regard to Toad ... not aware currently that it's any more severe than that.

Anyone else heard that the Thorne Brewery has gone bust.

I'd heard that they had stopped output for a few weeks (not sure why though) but that they would be up and running again in July.

Had a pint of Three B's Bobbins bitter and two pints of Lancaster Blonde, sitting outside in the sunshine at the Cemetery Hotel before the game. The pub the coach passed before drop-off.
It wasn't as dead as I thought it might be in there.
Much preferable to being cooped up in the bar at Spotland.

I thought that the walkers would come past, but we never saw them.

Me too, I'd have stuck to the spirits
