Brian, I do see the reasoning behind the decision to omit him from this one, that damn pitch crocked Jordie Hedges and look what happened to him.

No point in risking a Watson who was out the game for such a long time with an ACL injury on such a surface. Having had a knee replacement its no joke recovering from just that. It's hard work to get back to something like.

We should be winning this game but it depends which Oldham outfit turn up, they led Rochdale a merry dance last week before Rochdale switched plays in the second half.

Dons are giving 8.5 points start on handicap with both sides 5/6 to win.

Converting the outright odds into percentages suggests the bookies think Oldham will win 28% of the time, the draw will happen twice in 100 and the Dons will win 70% of the time.

That doesn't seem a million miles off.
