A barmy 10 minute spell in the second half cost us really, Thaler was a little suspect especially when it looked like Carney threw the first punch on Flynn yet Cas get the pen? apart from that i though it was a fairly even contest and with more bodies back hopefully we can stick them at home.

14 out of the 17 british today as well.

My glass is most certainly half full, were still having a top season.

Cas fans near the incident say Flynn threw the first punch but Carney retaliated with plenty.

Flynn definitely threw the first punch but I can see Carney with a 1 match ban due to his past problems.

Well done Widnes though. Even though we won you stopped us playing our usual game for 40mins. Definitely top 8 worthily and I look forward to our replay already.

Well played today, impressed with Widnes, really sharp attacking team, Kevin brown is class.
The brawl was costly for you I'm honest, your boys seemed to lose their composure for 10 minutes, whereas we seemed to get a lift from it and scored some quick tries with the crowd fired up.
Good contest though
