Danny isn't up to Super League standard, I'm not basing it purely on todays showing but the excuse of he's a young kid and needs time is utter b0llocks. He's been in and around the Widnes first team for years now and apart from a reasonable boot at times on him he offers nothing else. Gareth O'brien is a backup at Warrington yet is far superior to Craven in all departments, I would release him at the end of this season as his contract runs out.

Now onto Hookers, Clarkes last season so nothing much else to say about that, he's gone now but duty calls and his contract will be seen out. Lloyd White is way to pedestrian to be a Widnes player, slow passing and generally slow all over, we lack a spark and urgency from the hooking position to get us forward, food for thought for Denis but we need a good fast specialist Hooker for next season coming in and i would also sign Hulme back to be rotation (Widnes lad, solid defence and does a very good job).

Thoughts? happy to debate this.

Your right about both Craven and the painfully slow dummy halves. Was saying during the match O'brien was superior than both our half backs. We miss Mellor a lot more than people think. Personally I think Gore should at hooker against sin tellins and we need to sort the right side of defence regarding Flynn and Dean as both les cats and wire run amok down that side.

Well i agree our hookers are too slow and now i try Gore, as cant be worse than these two players. Next year need another big prop as a enforcer like Ben Cross, but not as injury prone.Craven never seems to create or take the line on and his kicking goes straight out or too far.

We need some freshness and possibly Pickgersgill or Adam Lawton a run out?
