Any Widnes fans keen? - Chester Gladiators coaching job Post : Wed Feb 26, 2014 9:15 pm
An exciting opportunity exists for a new head coach to lead Chester Gladiators into the 2014 season and beyond.
Founded in 2008, our progressive club is making great strides off the field and the start of our sixth season provides an ideal opportunity to bring in a new person to lead us on the field. Our current three-man coaching team are fully committed to the club and will continue as assistants to the new head coach. With a growing player base, access to some of the best facilities in the region including a strength and conditioning training gym and a committed back room team, this is an excellent role for an ambitious and club-focused coach. Ideally qualified to RFL Level Two standard, the head coach will be expected to lead senior training one evening per week, select match squads and manage the open age first team on match days. Although the role is voluntary, appropriate expenses can be covered for the right candidate. In return we will offer extensive support and assistance with continuing professional development. Applications can be submitted via email to info@chestergladiators.com and the closing date is Friday, February 28 2014. For an informal discussion about the role or to find out more about the club contact Jim Green on 07512 355396. PS We plan to run two open age teams in 2014 and are recruiting new players to further bolster the squad. More info on www.chestergladiators.com |
