NEIL KELLY!, apparently at the game on Friday night?? i personally saw him here last year when widnes played a fixture.
Just shows what you can do when a coach knows what he is doing, Young durbin will flourish at leigh as he got the MOM award today, Kelly can bring the best out in players as he did with hardly any cash and got us in SL when we was in trouble earlier in the season.. Im just praying that we bring some one like him in again.

Don't talk rubbish, do you not know Steve McChoker is the best coach in the game and that he's just about to announce that Ned is joining him as his assistants assistant as thats how good he is, and that Kelly will be bringing all Leighs first team with him (Not that they're worth having as they're at Leigh anyway, but thats not the point...)




There you go, saves you all posting on Leighs forum about how Ned will be joining you shortly etc.

I wouldn't want to go back to Neil Kelly. I'd love to see Jon Sharp here myself. Though I don't see Steve Mc leaving unless we're playing poorly about 6 games in.

Jon Sharp good idea matey, that would be ideal i forgot about him Ste Mac will be going soon i have no doubt anyone with a brain can see what is happening, the saints game was a great start because we played very good rugby but we was playing kids. Now the nitty gritty starts and Ste Mac goes back to refering to his IDIOTS GUIDE TO RUGBY LEAGUE like the coach in the waterboy

You need to give McChoker more time. Four years isn't long enough, look at Alex Ferguson it took him longer than that to build a succesfull squad. Come on Widnes back your man give him a contract extension..... at least until 2012! You know it makes sense, five drives and a kick is the future and just watch for those inside balls from your standoff they are sooooooooooo unpredictable, the teams in this league will be begging for mercy.

im AFRAID i cant argue with it!, its that bad other teams come onto our page and mock our coach aswell, i have been saying this would happen for some time its just the majority of our fans have blinkers on!. IF leigh fans know how we play our rugby then it wont take a rocket scientist to figure out how to beat us!

IT WONT BE LONG UNTIL ITS SORTED IM SURE BY THE WAY LEIGH FANS SARCASTICLY SAY 5 DRIVES KICK IS THE WAY FORWARD!, pinch of salt as they think that giving their mum and sister a good rodding is acceptable

Maybe it has a lot with not going on Friday night but at the moment I'm not too concerned with the result or the reports of the performance.. or even for that matter the attendance.
After one competitive game (well as competitive as the northern rail cup gets at this stage) I would not be too downhearted.
It says a lot that the Leigh fans feel the need to come on here and point the finger of fun but I'm pretty sure that in the last couple of seasons McCormack's Widnes sides have finished higher in the league than them (and would have last year if not for the points deduction) despite the 'awful rugby'. If he's as bad a coach as they say he is then why have they not done better than us.
I'm still hopeful that we will see the rugby played in the first half of 2007. I seem to remember some awful games in the NR that year too before it all clicked.
As for Kelly.. he was great for us but then completely lost control of what became 2 halves of the dressing room.
