As a passionate believer in P/R I firmly think that Barrow have a moral right to enter SL. As for Leigh/Widnes/Halifax and other set of moaners that haven't won the GF, well hard luck. You should learn to compete on the field and then come back to us!

Your defo troll of the year and a cocksucker.Well if it was on best team in championship go up and worst in superleague go down i would agree. If no salary cap i am sure ste oconnor would splash his money to smash the league. At the end of the day, if got great players and a good coach you can win the league. You lucky to have a great coach in kear. Why you here when your team is in superleague already? In what way are Barrow 'light years' behind Fax and Leigh ???? Our crowds are as big (if not bigger), we have 2 trophies in the cabinet and that is just after 1 year at the higher level. Both Fax and Leigh play in better stadia, but why does renting a 'nice' ground once a fortnight make them better clubs ?? Fax, Leigh and Widnes have all played in SL and were ultimately relegated. Hardly a great track record at the higher level.

If you think clubs only "rent" the stadiums every two weeks then you are deluded. Oh and as for being relegated, yes your right, but you seem to have just concentrated on the one poor season Fax and Widnes had, what about when Fax finnished 3rd? Something Barrow will never achieve in SL

I have to admire your persistence but you really do need to learn that your club IS a long way behind Widnes in terms of development.

Your crowds are no where near as high or as consistent as ours. Rented ground or not, our stadium was built for the purpose of homing a professional rugby league team and it's one of the best in the game, get over it!!!

You have 1 more trophy than us in the cabinet for last season, your first season in the Championship one swallow does not make a summer!

As for our Super League track record, we had 4 seasons and would not have been relegated were it not for us making way for Les Cats. How many seasons did Barrow have in Super League? That's right, you've not even played in Super League!

You have an interesting way of putting a spin on things to make your club somehow on a par with ours. Wake up lad, your club is progressing in the right direction but you have a massive amount of work to do to get to anything like the successful business/sports model that we have in place.

Is contract value to that firm the same as the total cost to the Wolves for building the stadium? I very much doubt it is.

So I come on here and make a valid point in support off P/R and that makes me "cocksucker" in your words. Because I believe in the idea off P/R I need windmilling  Pathetic keyboard warrior!

As for splashing the cash to get promoted, well we know what happened in 2007 which ended in that embarrassing performance in the GF against Cas.

Wakefield have a god given right to be in SL because we earned our place there...Fact! Many years we have battled against adversity to earn our place. I would be happy for the draw bridge to be back open and take our chances with the P/R system.

I despise the franchise system that moves the game away from the merit off on-field performances. Fortunately for us our new ground is looking promising and things seem very rosy for the next round of franchises. :D :D

Yet another fan coming on here telling us that we have no right to want to better ourselves.

I have to ask you Deehell, how will you feel when you are replaced by someone with not even a fraction of your history or current strength? Will you be happy for YOUR club to lose out "for the good of the game" as many others in super league say they would? Because we all know thats a crock of B.S. and anyone who fails to acknowledge this is a complete liar.

This being the case, what is the problem with us wanting to be part of the haves in the game. It's not much fun being one of the put upons in this corrupt sport. We're not assuming we belong anywhere, our club and town has put the hard work in. We didn't get the super league cash that your club did which has consistently managed to put clubs like yours at a severe advantage and yet we still managed to get the stadium and our fans are still flocking to the club and we're still producing players. You all took Murdoch's cash and Wakefield and others did not make hay whilst the sun shines, we deserve a chance to prove we are better than that and ultimately failing someone goes out of business you will get what is coming to you.

Hope you don't mind a playing field as uneven as a ski slope, a cup competition that ebbs away any interest early on in the season and caps which severely limit your ability to outperform average set ups in a small league with two spots of relegation. When they promote South Wales Scorpions and Glasgow Nutters I will promise not to look at the bigger picture as to why they are finishing ahead of you and simply tell you to "stop whingeing" and I will definitely call your club "under performing". I've had plenty of experience in this so I know all the right things to say to someone worried about the future of their club. I think the drill is to be ultra patronising, ignorant and happy about it whilst my club is one of the chosen even to the detriment of the game as a whole. Can't wait.

I've said nothing about you having no right to better yourselves.

I passionately believe in P/R and totally despise the Franchise system. I am completely against expansion at all cost of the heartlands. So I don't see what the problem is. It seems to be that a lot of Widnes fans on here are now coming round to the idea of the franchise system because they seem to think they are a shoe in for one. It seems to be this view point is being held because of their lack of ability to win the Cham/NL GF. Win the GF then you can spout!

Luck is a combination of preparation and opportunity

Just to avoid confusion Starbug is the username of Steven Pike

SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done
But he with a chuckle replied
That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one
Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried.
So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin
On his face. If he worried he hid it.
He started to sing as he tackled the thing
That couldn’t be done, and he did it!

So all this

Your having a laugh! Well it certainly makes me laugh when Widnes fans think that they have a god given right to be next team in SL. Considering they have yet to win the big one in the Championship...Fact! For a team that failed to cut it, consistently on the field, when it mattered there seems be a lot self pitty surrounding your position. Can we have a reality check please...?

Was just you saying we should still have P and R ?

If that is the case you would not have had anybody disagreeing with you

Maybe you would be better contacting the RFL and telling them

No you didn’t. You came on here to tell us that Widnes’ bid should be judged the same way as it would with P&R, even though we are in the licence era. That is nothing to do with P&R. It’s just a frightened Wakey fan sh!tting himself and crying.

deeHell wrote:

In a system of P&R, that would be a fact. But we now have a licence system, so you don’t anymore – FACT!

deeHell wrote:

So do I.

I’d do away with it in an instant, whether Widnes benefited from it or not. You won’t find many Widnes fans who’d argue with that.

That’s what you said last time. Until work actually begins on your new stadium, you have f**k all to shout about.

No we're not. We are dealing with the reality of the licence era. You are simply making assumptions.

We've already won a GF.

I'm saying the license system is a disgrace! If Widnes had won the last 2 GF I'm sure you would be saying the same. There is a perception that Widnes some how seem to think they are best club in the championship and they deserve to be in SL. Win the GF then come back to me
