Banter my a$$ rubbing the salt in more like, all the way through our 78 min lead I still felt like we were beaten, sounds like I missed a cracker between Hull and Hull KR for that pile of poop

Luck is a combination of preparation and opportunity

Just to avoid confusion Starbug is the username of Steven Pike

SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done
But he with a chuckle replied
That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one
Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried.
So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin
On his face. If he worried he hid it.
He started to sing as he tackled the thing
That couldn’t be done, and he did it!

But surely the match yesterday is why we watch ' live ' sport

99 % of the people in that stadium , players ,fans, coaches, officials were expecting a fairly comfortable Widnes win

So it was never ' comfortable ' , and with 1 minute to go we took the lead

The drama of that is what sport is all about , not Franchises , Not the business model , not modern stadia , it was brilliant

That is why we go

That is why you go

Surely it was better than a couple of years ago when you were all leaving at half time , or the match at Hilton park when you nilled us

I have no doubt you will recover and whoever you play on monday will suffer as a result of yesterday

Whats the odds on you lot giving us a good beating in the return match now , much lower I would guess , Mr Cullen will not even need to speak to your players to motivate then for that match

All the best

Armistead was absolute garbage, he was in the same class as Doran. Matt said he was really happy with the Leigh performance. Leigh were shocking, the worst Leigh team to play at the Stobart for over 10 years. Mort is a decent player but the likes of Hobson and Marsh are useless.

All in all two very very poor teams. Probably the worst two teams of the weekebd

Even Ned said the guy wasn't fit and he played on one for leg for about 60 minutes and tackled like a trojan and took constant hit ups and managed to get the ball free in the tackles which were starting to cause you problems. To put him in the same 'league' as Doran for that game is ludicrous.

Sour grapes spring to mind. No drama? So the last minute try didn't effect you in anyway then.

So for those last 20 minutes when everybody in the ground knew that whichever team scored next would win did not have your gut twisting

If that is the case then I suggest you go watching Saints or Leeds as they play much better quality RL

But they wont be your team will they

Agreed, but Saints are very good to watch though maybe I should stop watching Saints Leeds etc, setting my standards far to high for championship level

Widnes have now put themselves in a position were no club in the league will fear us at all.

Unfortunatly the Wizard of Oz can only supply 1 heart and we need about 20 :(

A stuttering wreck we are at the mo
