Some good posters on there, honest and intelligent fans. But then you have people who seem stuck in the 70s and a great deal of illiterate kids which is just annoying.

I've never posted on there.

Simply because I tried to register 3 or 4 time and never got approved.

Last time I registered I did get approved, but by that time I couldn't be arsed with it. Its a shame because alot of the people I go games with are registered on there and not here.

I completely agree that this is a much much friendlier board and I do enjoy the craic..

I suppose I just think back to how the other board used to be in it's halcyon days long before when Gary and Chris used to run the thing.

It's funny you should mention meeting up because there have been quite a few times when I have thought that must be Dalton or VM and nearly made my way over to introduce myself but I never do... I'll be honest I have no idea what Pepe or BYB might look like..

Anyway.. that's reassuring chaps so thanks once again. Oh and I post as Chris B on the other board just in case we want to start our own clique..

Oh so that's who you are!

Not sure which category I fall into on TIW

We do seem to get more than our fair share of whingers who think because we are Widnes we have a divine right to win everything and press the panic button as soon as something goes wrong. But that's fans for you.

I hope I'm never nasty to anyone.

I keep plugging away but my posts normally seem invisible on there.. the one mate I do have that's a Widnes fan (worded so as not to give the impression that I am friendless) laughs his ass off that I get ignored so much..
To be honest I have the utmost respect for people like yourself that still regularly get to games despite the obstacles in your way..especially when so many from the town 'can't be bothered due to our current standing'. There was another guy from Portsmouth that used to post on there that made it for most home games although I expect he finds it harder to attend these days. Simply outstanding..
Plus your opinion is normally reasonable and sound..
There are quite a few whingers on there but every club has them and a lot of kids but.. I'm glad that there are so many kids that post on there as it shows that the interest is continuing.. it would be worrying if there were just legible, soundly reasoned posts from 20 somethings up I guess
