Warrington Game last night : Fri Apr 03, 2015 10:12 am
Any Widnes fans out there ? Fantastic game for Widnes. I've said a couple of times since last night, I don't think Warrington were awful, they just didn't offer as much as we know they can do. I think we shut them down very well and our goal line defence was absolutely spot on.

I don't ike it but have to admit, Kevin Brown changes absolutely everything when he puts a jersey on for us. His vision is second to none and he really for us going. Both hookers and Hanbury had decent games. Turning point for me, we had the chance to take 2 not far from the sticks. We kept the pressure on, ran the ball and Brown was too much for their defence and a try.

As for the flare/smoke bomb. It's quite ironic. Obviously we did the exact same thing at their place. Almost a replica situation. Smoke bomb set off in the crowd then one thrown onto the field. It's just idiots. Every club has them and as long as Warrington deal with the kid in the correct manner then I'm fine with that. They brought a good 2000-3000 which is always healthy.

I think we've wrote the Catalans game off but Hull away next week could be two points coming our way (hopefully)

Up the Vikings!!!!

I don't think we should be counting any chickens with regards to the Hull game, that journey is never good for us. If there was ever a time to do them at their place its now, but it's always going to be a tough fixture. We should be going into it with confidence as you should any game and the belief which inevitably wins us any game we come away victors from.

They didn't bring as many as I thought they would, imo 2k at most but after their beating against huddersfield (where they had over 9k) I'm not surprised as they have a fair few glory hunters, did you notice a few of them doing the Wigan walk after browns try on 50ish minutes, made me laugh

Wire fans were in 2 stands behind both sets of sticks not just the one that other clubs do. 2.5-3k although it's disappointing when it ought to be 3.5-4k as often.

Was the culprit with the flare/smoke bomb identified and apprehended in the ground? which team did the nice guy shame by claiming to be a supporter?

East stand only holds 2500 the smallest stand. I dont see the point in opening both unless full. I think open both stands, as expected over 3000 from Warrington and i wish 3 or 4000 did travel.
