Hi Guys - if this post isn't permitted then please remove.
I have started back up playing RL for a side called Hull Knights. It is 100% non-profit, and all money raised will be donated to 3 main charities:
P.A.U.L for Brain Recover MNDA Steve Prescott Foundation
How are we raising money I hear you ask? Well, over 50 legends of the game have been signed up to play a host of matches across the country against us. Players such as Gareth Ellis, Adrian Morley, Robbie Hunter-Paul, Paul Rowley, Lee Gilmour, Sean Long, Leon Pryce, Karl Pryce, Dan Sarginson, Shaun Lunt, Josh Griffin, Danny Houghton, Tyla Hepi, Stephen Wild, Reece Lynn, Connor Wynne, Pauli Pauli and many more. With referees such as Thaler, Silverwood and Ian Smith set to take charge of the games.
The first match is at Hull RUFC on Chanterlands Avenue on 10th November with a 12pm kick off. We have to raise as players £50 for each game we play, with a squad of 25-30, that is some good money being raised for the charities mentioned. My Just Giving page link is below - any support is appreciated, even if it is just turning up on the day to watch, or by donating whatever you can. Thanks guys!
