Back in Hull.
Brilliant effort, just lacking that but of class, swap Smith and Croft and we win that.
Much better defence, I know people will say its only ledds, but they still have Miller, Croft, Ackers and Smith as there pivots.
Really like the look of Moy who looks lively, Ese Ese immense, Pele much better and Walker looks a threat and missed tackle apart defended really well.
Also imprseed with the loan players, particularly Chamberlain, hits hard.
Hopefully Briscoe, Scott and Trueman back next week.

We win that game easily with 2 good halves in my opinion.
Not sure why we didn't once get Pele charging at the line when we were only a few metres out. The way he was running he'd have had a great chance at getting over.

Was impressed again with Martin.
Some all round class that this game and punches above his weight.
The plus so far this year is seeing Martin, Charles, Staveley and Moy.

If Trueman is fit next week we should seriously look at moving Smith from halfback to the bench as back up nine.
His last tackle options are so poor made worse by his inept kicking and as you say never used a big forward like Pele with a short pass to run at the line.
I know he does his best but we are just gifting the ball to the opposition on the last tackle

2 great young wingers on display today, one for each team. That Lumb also looked a very confident young player.
I've never thought much to Robert's for Leeds. Reminds me a lot of Harvey Barron. Thought Lumb did more and look more assured today than I've ever seen from Roberts.
Well done to both Lumb and Martin.

Aydin was solid if unspectacular, put a few good hits in while defending.

Stats will be intresting , particularly keen to compare Lane and Sao's hit ups.
Did Brown come back after his first spell?

Thought Houghton made a couple of poor decisions, Kicked through early on the 3rd I think with one player chasing. Then didn't kick on the next set on the 5th with 3 players on his outside and went for the pass.
