Got a feeling Grix will get it, which I think we be a big mistake. If he does, we need an attack minded assistant. Defence looks better, but we are still off with our attacking play.

Still using our backs too much, there was a set yesterday were we made about 30 metres, not one forward tool a drive in that set.

Need to use Ese Ese and Pele near the line, particularly when they are on together.

10 minutes to go, losing by one try and we move our most threatening player to the wing for a young inexperienced FB.

I cannot see Grix getting the role permanently, I think the narrative and sound clips about him are more trying to be respectful to him, and because he is likely to have the role until the end of the year.

I would even rather have McDermott than have Grix permanently.

mcdermott only achieved what he did at leeds due to the exceptional playing group. They were awful for most of his tenure. Admittedly winning the comp from 5th a couple of times but also finishing in the middle 8's at least once, maybe twice. Terrible coach. They played with literally no structure whatsoever. It would be a big mistake to appoint him and another in the long list of poor coaching appointments.

Plus he's another who rubs everyone up the wrong way so would hardly bring the club and fans together

Agree with Jake, only argument for Mcdermott is the last two years he has been an assistant in the NRL.

But overall I'm very against Mcdermott.

I seem to remember the mcdermott out thread on the leeds forum ran to about a thousand pages over 5+ years.
