In what way?
The article says investment talks are ongoing and just need finalising.
Nobody ever said anything was getting announced tonight. People just wanted to hear something tonight and since Pearson is on the radio people put 2 and 2 together.
We may have to wait a little bit longer than hoped, but things still seem to be positive on the investment front.

Hiring a DOR is positivite news. No spin there.

I think he means the "gig" is up , but that doesn't work anyway as nobody from the club has promised anything immediately.

No clearly mean the ‘jig’ is up how many times has mr Pearson said there’s ‘potential investors’ what classed as potential? An email from a Nigerian prince ?

It’s just diverting the traffic for another few months so he can het to the end of the season to spin another ticket campaign but no, they’re ‘serious’ this time
