One position I think we are OK on is prop, well as long as they stop getting banned.

Can't see Sao stopping going to the Disciplinary.
Probably got his own parking spot..

I'd release Sao (is the fireman story true?)

Use his quota spot for a backrower.

Still have Ese Ese, Fash, Ashworth and Pele. Try and bring in 1 or 2 domestic props (depending on Brown).

6 props along with a couple of young lads should be enough, think 2 quota spots on props is enough.

If Sao and Okunbor could both be paid off it would be ideal. Our backrow needs some investment

I don’t know, I think if Sao went for example, that we could still do with a prop. I’m thinking a leader type, we need one, scratching my head to see one though.

Sao is a bridge I’m going to die on. His issues come from trying too hard and an excessive work load. Should we share the workload out better and not constantly getting whacked he would perform better.

We’re all quick to criticise him when he gets carded/suspended but in reality it’s happening because he’s one of the few players trying to make something happen.

If we look at his cards:

Rovers - ridiculous
Hudds cup - Disciplinary said it wasn’t a late hit.
Hudds league - probably no defence really

And what about him laughing with fans straight after our thrashing at home to Huddersfield and his 2 sin bins?

I witnessed it. Completely indefensible.

While I can see your point, if we carry on with our current squad for the rest of the year, we might not win another game and could be on the end of plenty more 50 point defeats.

The harm to the confidence of the fans and players (particularly young players) could do long term damage.

Lose every game, lots of fans won't renew no natter who we sign and the coach.

I think we need to bring in some players, would prefer long term to bed in new players for next season.

Exactly! We were 50/50 on renewing our pass this season and at the moment we wish we hadn't, I dont mind losing to a better team if we have had a decent dig but this season has been something else.

I get it isn't a great look at the end of a thrashing, but a lot of the players pose for photos with their partners or kids at the end of the game, so do we stop that too if we lose?

I heard Sao wants to go part-time next season so that he can join the fire service, so if true, sounds like he will be dropping down a league anyway so probably his last season with us

Post came he takes time out to acknowledge fans, that’s a positive. Should’ve just ignored them and gone straight down the tunnel so he can get criticised for ignoring the fans.its a no win situation for players.

He’s the only bloke in team who goes straight from game to the gym so he can do recovery work in pool and sauna. Also works hardest in his own time.

He’s not indefensible by any stretch but there’s definitely some mitigation for his “liability tag”.
