My concern for next season is player availability
Its likely we will bring in an experienced front row from overseas but when i see us linked with someone like Joe Wardle then for me thats going backwards.
A couple of big mobile front rows would give us a decent pack to compete with anyone but we need two halfbacks as priority.
Houghton/Shaul combo at nine would work for me without us trying to bring in another nine that is of course both of them are not on the available list to other clubs


I'd agree with all that apart, from the hooking role, I think it's the glaring weakness in the team, pass selection, pass quality, organisation from the position, attacking threat from the position are all no where near the standard required.

If there's a young hooker like Smith available from a team that breeds quality in Saints I think it's a no brainer even if we have to pay a small fee.

Time to move on from Houghton, who I still don't think he's head/hearts fully in it

I’m considering cancelling my direct debit for 2 passes for next season, having the FC club badge surgically removed from my calf, paying private obviously but I may be able to get it done on the NHS if I tell them how much stress and anxiety it causes me. Sell my FC private reg on my car. Then next season come on here and diatribe the team when they lose every week, just like all the usual suspects on here, telling the coach how to do his job and worst still, the dedicated owner, how to run HIS club. Then in true Dallas fashion, wake up and realise it was all a nasty nightmare. AAANNNDDDD no I’m not a defendacon, just an average FC fan who coughs up every year because I love my team and sing when we’re winning and sulk like buggery when we lose, I know, stupid isn’t it, guess I’m a dying breed. Buried another one last week.

I don't know if its true but I was told last week that the Player of the Year presentations have been cancelled this year, despite some folks having already signed up for tickets. perhaps there wasn't anyone who fits the bill of POTY in 2021?

As an honest appraisal Brad Fash has been outstanding, always on hand, takes that ball up, never going to be the best, and a few of his so called peers, could do with lessons from this lad.

It’s also said that Taylor was heard ‘slagging off’ members of the team at magic weekend when he was ‘allegedly’ injured. It was said by someone else that the injury he was out with wasn’t what was divulged to the public ? No idea what was meant by that, I read that Taylor is having the clubs /Adam Pearson / us the paying fans pants down ? Are any of the people on that thread on Twitter on here that can enlighten us further ? Someone on here also said Taylor is over weight and unfit, I’d have to agree, looked like Stig of the dump last time I saw him ! What does that tell you about the culture at the club ? Maybe we got rid of the wrong prop a couple of years ago?

So Ian Watson has admitted that its been frustrating as Wardles coach that he hasn't been fit, and he wants fit and durable players in his squad! Surely that should be telling us not to progress with his signing!

To be looking to sign a player nearing 30 who has hardly played in two years is either delusional or desperation.
You would think we had learned something from signing Reynolds.
Its not inspiring

Well its swings and roundabouts as they used to say, the 2 seats next to me and my daughter have never been available but the couple who sit there aren't renewing I've always wanted to take my 2 grandkids but couldn't so I'll be buying passes for those seats,
