Solid pro though, gets a good character reference about being very professional, which is the type we definitely need, need a new leadership group.....
We need to get moving with recruitment, unfortunately I think we have left it to late to recruit.
Huddersfield already have 3 halfback better than our main two halfbacks.
to be honest the club has made a huge recruitment error in thinking the squad was good enough with the addition of a front row. In my opinion the tail off in form and performance will have come as a surprise to both coach and owner and now we are playing recruitment catch up. With a dearth of quality players available i can see the club making the same mistakes when Radford was here and we began signing second grade players to bolster the squad.

To be honest I'm undecided on Peats and it just seems more a move for him out of desperation than as a key acquisition to the squad. I guess at least the club have realised that hooker has been and is a problem area and we lack guile in that position so are trying to rectify that.
We need a hooker who can pass and make the right decisions, Peats wouldn't have played nearly 200 league games and SOO if he couldn't do that.
Houghton will do well off the bench, against tired defences
I know what you are saying about Peats but if we have only one overseas spot then we need to use it in the front row. We agree Houghton would be better off the bench thats why i keep pushing the Houghton/Shaul combo. From the little we have seen Shaul at nine he did enought to show he can play that position and when he is fit we would see a lot more running from him at dummy half. Houghton starting Shaul off the bench for me but if the club are seriously looking at Peats then its possible Houghton could be on the move.
