I'd agree, Peats is 31 ish and hardly pulled up trees.

Try and move JJ on and try and get Eaves or Smith.

Seen some chat on Twitter tonight about the Hull mafia - is this Taylor and Houghton? - exercising undue influence and pi$$ing about. Can't see how we get more than 3k to sign up tbh without some massive announcements.

I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

Certainly makes you wonder and if that is the case then I’d hope they’d be shown the door.

It’s a worrying time in terms of membership renewals as the last 10 games and performances have done an awful lot of damage.

It’s possible that unless big changes can and are made then the club may well be looking at sub 3K numbers for memberships as you say.

Have to say I'm really starting to consider if I want to pay another £300ish out to have 12 or 13 miserable evenings/afternoon's out. There's only so much you can take and it's not like you can't get your preferred seat back at a later date, there's thousands of free seats now a days.

Interested in Hodgsons comments on changing in the training structure going forward. It’s long been the story we’re over-trained and fatigued, and probably why we fall off at the end of every year.

I'd argue its because we're not fit enough. How many times have we lost a game in the last 15/20 mins

This is the exact opposite to 2016. If we went into games with scores close at 60 minutes our fitness got us over the line more times than not.

Same difference. If you’re flogged in training and can’t recover before you’re being flogged again you’ll hit a wall quite quickly. I doubt the poor fitness levels across the board are down to the lads all sitting about eating crisps all week.

What now?

Well as bad as we are, and as poor as we’ve been, regardless of an absolutely dire season, which started with so much promise, and for me the biggest disappointment is BH inabilities to put his finger print on this team, it started well, but failed miserably going forward.

Someone said it’s lucky we have a possible 10,000 pass holders, it’s not luck, it’s love, the game from the Boulevard to the MKM our parents and grandparents have taken us to, and we follow the same paths, it’s ingrained in Hull, at the moment we are shackled to a team with no heart, a bit like the Sharks, and those of you who remember what that was like, apologies for awakening that nightmare.

Difficult as it may be, for all the faithful, who can, and are able, don’t be fooled by those who like to see us dead and buried, back your only club when passes need purchasing, keep the faith.

i dont think fitness was the isssue. The main problems with the team having nothing left in the tank was indiscipline and errors.
I cant count the number of times we coughed up the ball in the opposition 20 then give away a penalty then a six again resulting in a try.
If we had respected the ball more, completed our sets at a reasonable percentage and not given away so many penalties and six agains even without so many players we could have easily made the top 6.
My concern for next season is player availability
Its likely we will bring in an experienced front row from overseas but when i see us linked with someone like Joe Wardle then for me thats going backwards.
A couple of big mobile front rows would give us a decent pack to compete with anyone but we need two halfbacks as priority.
Houghton/Shaul combo at nine would work for me without us trying to bring in another nine that is of course both of them are not on the available list to other clubs
