I’ve complained to the SMC several times about the lack of hot water within the toilets and had a couple of replies to say it was down to an issue with the boiler and that they were in the process of solving the issue. But as there’s been no hot water for long enough it’s clear that this isn’t/hasn’t been the case.

It’s certainly being neglected and no cleaning had been done as the seats where covered in a considerable amount of dust etc. Whilst I appreciate the bird droppings is difficult to stop, periodical cleaning wouldn’t go amiss.

Loads of complaints on twitter tagging Hull CC, Angus Young, James Smales highlighting it.

I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

I must say I was very surprised at the poor state the Stadium was in and whilst everyone accepts an outdoor stadium is never going to be spotlessly clean etc there has clearly been no attempts made to clean anything within the Stadium. Dust on seats is one thing but the level of bird muck on the floor, walls and seating wasn't just recent droppings as can be seen here in the HDM article. Given that the Stadium hasnt been used by fans for a year you would have thought the SMC would have at least attempted some kind of cleaning program after being closed for such a long time let alone we are finally hoping to see an end to lockdown following the pandemic

You would have expected that the SMC would have used the time the stadium hasn't been used by the public to attend the the work that was and is needed around the place, this is just further evidence that the SMC are not maintaining the Stadium as required and I would imagine is in breach of contract and something the Council can not ignore any longer.

Makes me laugh really. So they bang on about the ownership of their club, but leap to their defence when it comes to FC?

It’s looking jaded now , especially when compared to other stadiums built at a similar time, or even before.

Basic cleanliness and running water should be a gimme though, especially now.

Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?

Just don't go and read what they're saying on Not606.

You couldn't make it up, although, tbf, that's what most of them are doing.

They do know that we get bigger gates than them?

Give it until October, and then it will be back to Ehab / McCann out

You beat me to it. I've never read such a pile of deluded rubbish. The main culprit seems to be someone calling himself City Man. He'll no doubt be among those calling for the Allams to be booted out, but leaping to their defence whenever someone queries their mishandling of the SMC.

There's an email address for anyone wishing to complain about the state of the KCOM last night.

kevin.hickson@hulltigers.com

This is the SMC's Facilities Manager.

Not popped in there for a while it's quite funny some of the stuff they come up with, bit like the Dobbins who are stuck in the dark ages about passed achievements they are still stuck in the 1960's with Waggy n Chillo
