So if it cost us 700k for 5 games

paying for our own stadium now doesn't seem so bad..........

Somethings got to give, if the council arnt going to help then there's no option but to look for finance for a smaller stadium

Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?

More likely £700k for the season, which just happened to be 5 games.

The way it’s going I just don’t see any other option for AP than to leave the KCOM as it’s clear staying under the current regime is just not viable. In the grand scheme of things whist a stadium won’t come cheap it may well be a viable option with additional benefit of it being an asset rather than dead money in terms of rental for the KCOM.

Didn’t he say there is private equity money kicking about at the moment?

Things are coming to a head though, one way or the other. Think he’s had enough and is looking to ramp up the pressure.

Change of leadership at the Council coming up, but its going to be Daren Hale who may turn the Stadium into a Velodrome :)

And you’d think they’d be able to provide hot water in the toilets for just a few games.

The KCOM is in a disgusting state. The amount of bird droppings is unbelievable.

That and the general lack of maintenance, it's hard to believe it's not quite twenty years old.

I’ve complained to the SMC several times about the lack of hot water within the toilets and had a couple of replies to say it was down to an issue with the boiler and that they were in the process of solving the issue. But as there’s been no hot water for long enough it’s clear that this isn’t/hasn’t been the case.

It’s certainly being neglected and no cleaning had been done as the seats where covered in a considerable amount of dust etc. Whilst I appreciate the bird droppings is difficult to stop, periodical cleaning wouldn’t go amiss.
