Its hard to know what their end game is. At the moment City fans are happier than they were, the team has just been promoted the squad is more stable than the last few years and the wage bill is low by Championship standards...but I can't see them investing a lot of cash so they are likely to bounce between the Chamoionship and League1 and the fans will get grumpy again at that prospect.

A promotion to the prem will see the former Tigers but current Liverpool/Man U/Leeds fans return to the Tigers faithful once more.

With all the promotions and relegations it's difficult to work out where there loyalties lie.

If City get off to a poor start, the moaning and groaning will soon start again.
I can see McCann and Ehab getting heat if they go on a losing run. Not that the Allams are bothered.

I agree. Don’t think the Allams will ‘invest’ in getting back to the premier league. That’s why I believe they’ll hang around waiting for conditions at the stadium to become so bad the council decide to sell.

As I posted earlier on this thread I’m not convinced that they’ve ever had any real intention to sell the club. I think it’s all been a bluff/smoke screen a bit like the front page article in the HDM with Assem Allan holding up plans for a supposed stadium at Melton. Their bluff was called by the American investor with a very real bid only for them to torpedo the deal by bumping up the price unrealistically.

If they were genuine they would have sold up by now as they’ve had long enough and enough opportunities to sell.

Where else would they get a better interest rate on their loan?

Exactly, which is why they could have sold the club along with the SMC for much less if they really wanted out as by now they have more than recouped the initial cost of buying City. When they proclaimed they bought Hull City as a gift to the City what they meant was they had bought 'a gift that keeps on giving them' and only them.

I don't believe they've had any intentions to sell and wouldn't be at all surprised if trying to force Hull FC out with unfair treatment and costs that are just not viable is their plan to get the Council to give in and hand over the Stadium after they've racked up debt on it etc.

Sadly we have a council with as much backbone as a jelly fish when it comes sorting the issues with the Stadium, the SMC and the Allams.

If AP does manage to secure financial backing and the land to successfully build a stadium for the club then the Council have a monumental issue on there hands in regards to the KCOM and why they simply can not afford to bury their heads and hope it goes away..
