No way is Sneyd the best kicker around, goal kicks maybe, but his in field kicking game hasn't been great for the past couple of years.

Interesting to note that all fiixtures tonight bar St’s v Salford were all losses for home sides.

Agree with others that the bench choices weren't right, Scott and Johnstone were wasted picks for the minutes they played. We need another prop in desperately.

A disappointing result, but were still around that 5th/6th bit of the table I expected us to be, the squad needs some more tweaks to go any higher.

Was still great to be back, I've missed having a grumble at the ref and dissecting the performance on the way home.

Disappointing that we let Tomkins and Catalans to knock us off our game.
With a light pack we should have used Faraimo off the bench , kicked early in the tackle to put them off their game. Connor & Reynolds were poor tonight

For as poor as the ref was, for us to not have a play the ball in their 30 all second half is appalling. Thought Houghton and Sneyd were very poor, wrong options time and time again. Against a big pack you either go wide and run them around, or kick early and turn them around and we didn't do either. It seems that we don't just resort to the last tackle kick to score our tries now, it's give it to Satae twice a set too.

Hopefully that's our poor performance out the way and turn it around next weekend. Can't make as many mistakes and expect to win.

Connor like Sneyd is another who seems to dodge the criticism bullet

play like that again and its likely after the next two games that our beloved neighbours could be above is in the table

You cant carry a half back because he can kick goals.
Organised sweet FA tonight and very debatable that he is the best kicker in the game.
Certainly not the best ball in hand kicker,certainly not the best short kick into the in goal,and several others are just as good with conversions as Sneyd.
Wont mention drop goals.He is now way down the list
I can see McNamara taking his place at some time this season if his form keeps dipping

Houghton does absolutely nothing apart from tackle

Roby Clark and dwyer make 30/40 tackles a game aswell as great attacking games

Houghton has lived on tackle 52, he's not even a leader. Only time he leads is when singing old faithful at full time
