I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

Tom Davies is as good as Johnstone IMO, is out of contract so wouldn't cost a fee, I hope we have made him an offer.

To be honest Dave I've always thought Davies was a very good winger that has plenty of pace and was surprised when he left Wigan. I think he would be a very good signing for us and in all honesty better value than Tom Johnstone TBH.

I wasn't aware he was out of contract, so agree he's very much worth making an offer to but with the stipulation he locates within 30 mins of Hull.

Had a couple of bad years of injuries at Wigan (They havent much luck with their wingers) and at the time had Burgess, Marshall and Manfredi.

He will probably stay, but I'd be making a decent offer for him if he fancies moving back to the UK

We now know Swift can cover FB in an emergency. So bringing in someone like Davies is an interesting point.

Can you imagine the back-pedalling by Rovers fans if true?

Indeed but it happens at all clubs

Alot of our fans welcomed the idea of Paul Cooke coming back when he was rumoured to be one of radders assistants

And our fans made that disgraceful song about Cooke dieing after joining the inbreds

So it happens everywhere sport fans are fickle

Always thought he could play on the wing for us.
Can take a high ball, could scoot from dummy half and is quick.

Leave Jake where he is long term and Shaul can be a non quota winger for us.

Great news Jamie given the green light to start full training, he says he will play anywhere, even hooker if necessary. Good lad superb attitude.

Great news. That was a horrible injury and it will have been a long, tough recovery.

Looking forward to seeing Jamie back. He’s still got a part to play in our season and in the future. Love his attitude that he’ll play anywhere. I’m sure and trust that Brett has got a plan and a position for him.

I’m really looking forward to seeing how he goes under BH.
Think he can add something extra to the side.

Nice update, although no timescales given.

Looking forward to seeing Jamie back. Would love us to develop a second position for Jamie, either as a winger, centre or hooker. We don’t exploit his pace enough. He could be devastating down the middle following the pack, or scooting from the ptb.

I think today showed that Brett is thinking how others can be deployed in other positions, with the way Swift played at Full Back. Hopefully, he’ll develop Jamie further, as it would be a shame if he came back from injury and was sold because Jake is now at Full Back.

I have said many times on here that Shaul should be used now as a nine.No such thing now as a hooker since the rule changes and Shaul would be ideal in this position given his pace off the mark.
Would like to see him used off the bench primarily for Houghton.
You dont have to be a great ball distributor in this position. Its now more of a running game from acting half.
Houghton is hardly the best passer of a ball and needs to be interchanged otherwise we burn him out again.
Johnstone is not the answer at 9.He has no running game.
Shaul in my opinion will be our future nine
