Did anyone see this lady from the RFL on Look North, Peter Levy questioned her regarding the Tony Clubb punishment.

Her speaking directly down to the webcam really hammered home what she was saying. “Other than the racism he’s of good character” is certainly a mind blowingly ignorant thing to say, coupled with Clubb coming out and saying he didn’t say that, he simply denigrated Savelios ethnic origin and how he chooses to identify with it

Luckily none of the mainstream press give a toss about RL anymore but if someone were to pick this all up and run with it it would be a PR disaster.

In the absence of such, then it is one word against the other. Clubb doesn't deny using the words, just ( as Eric Morecambe once said) not necessarily in the order that Savelio claims. There is actually quite a difference in the nuance of what was said, depending on which version is correct. Depends what burden of proof is used to 'convict'. Balance of probability, he said it. Beyond reasonable doubt, he didn't.
