I think under the circumstances I find it to be a reasoned statement.
There are no independent witnesses or corroborating evidence for either party, so based on the balance of probability only, the punishment seems sufficient.

It;s a fact - her being "a qualified solicitor having read law at Cambridge University graduating with a First Class Degree" doesn't exclude her from being ignorant or incompetent.

Most of the cabinet went to Oxbridge and they're incompetent.

I'm not sure why you think she's what you stated and why you think your left wing views are any more valid than the cabinet.

Her educational background doesn't exclude her from being ignorant or incompetent you're right. However, her legal education and almost two decades working with Rugby League laws make her significantly more educated and competent than anyone commenting on this forum on this subject matter. She is neither ignorant nor incompetent.

Disagree with the result of the decision all you like but don't infer something about a person you do not know, especially when your knowledge of the rules are far inferior.
