I think if we lose Shaul and Faramio, then we need to bring in another winger, I would love us to to sign Tom Davies, fantastic young, British winger.
Forwards I think we need two, Lawler (Would love Bentley, but I can't see him leaving Saints unless he goes to the NRL) and an overseas prop, I'd try and make a move for Fifita from Wakey, if not the NRL.
I'm not convinced by Johnstone, so I'd also be looking at another hooker if possible.
Have full confidence in Hodgsons recruitment, he will have good contacts in the NRL and will use Ellis and KP for the SL and championship recruitment.
I think Lawler would be a terrific signing but cannot see it happening. Rather than Fifita who seems to have attitude problems I'd look to bring in a younger NRL forward who would be better value. Someone of the same ilk as Tanginoa at Wakefield. A lot of our team are over or approaching their 30's and I'd like to see the average age reduced.
If we lose Shaul it wouldn't I be surprised to see him at Rovers next season.

Young Bentley, has unfortunately just fractured his leg, with ankle complications.
We need to be all over Lawler leaving Rovers. Cracking player and a versatile forward.
We're not showing an interest, but Cas are. It's not money, more ambition apparently. At least he will give Adam Quinlan some respite from being their fans' object of derision for a bit

Last week he was international material and a player we should build our team around for the next few years. Today he's overrated and easily replaced
Next week he'll have a sudden change of heart.
George Lawler " I never wanted to leave Rovers I want to stay and win silverware."
Tony Smith " It's fantastic that George has put pen to paper and committed himself to Rovers for the next 5 years. Every other SL and NRL club was desperate for his signature but George knows we are an ambitious club who are striving to avoid relegation.
