Sounds interesting. Two leagues of ten, two up, two down. Top three play off (2v3 winner play league leaders in Grand Final)
Season starts in late March. Play everyone home and away then four of five other games based on previous season's finishing positions. Scrap Magic Weekend. Super League One clubs enter Challenge Cup in round of 32.

Super League One
St Helens
Wigan
Leeds
Warrington
Hull FC
Catalans Dragons
Castleford Tigers
Toulouse Olympique
London Broncos
Newcastle Thunder

Super League Two
Huddersfield Giants
Salford City Reds
Featherstone Rovers
Wakefield Trinity
Leigh Centurions
Hull KR
Bradford Bulls
York City Knights
Widnes Vikings
Sheffield Eagles

Tough times ahead, for sure. Goes way beyond rugby, but that is too depressing and off topic.

The one straw to clutch for SL is that maybe giving rights (or selling them for a nominal fee) to a free-to-air broadcaster might bump up the value of sponsorship a bit, and raise the profile of the sport.

Right now the prospect seems to more semi-pro teams in SL or fewer outside of it. I’m not sure cutting to 10 SL clubs makes much of a difference by itself. Would have to be part of a broader package when ‘we’ decide what to save.

Sorry but just don’t see 10 team leagues as the way to go to making the game attractive, I think it would actually have a negative impact.
Should be a minimum of 12 teams.

Could well shape up like this, can't see there being more than 6 "traditional" clubs in the top tier. Seems to be a push on Odsal again - wonder whether Bradford might get the nod in this scenario.

Have a 30 team league like they did in the 60's. Play each other home and away. Possibly play 2 games in a day to avoid fixture congestion and have a 30 team play off system.

Bring back the Premiership John Player trophy and Yorkshire Cup. Not the Floodlit Trophy because we hold it in perpetuity.

I'm a visionary.

I think they just have to stop dicking around with the game. One of the issues for me is that far too frequently is the sport trying to reinvent itself but it’s just shoots itself in the foot. When they make changes to the game and format they never give them chance as before too long it’s change again for changes sake.

14 team SL for me then close the doors

If we go two leagues of ten teams it will cause carnage, Hudds, KR wont want to be in the lower tier no chance

If it just becomes a ten team SL then thats me done with rugby league

Completely agree. Its very hard to explain to casual fans exactly what the format is and why things matter.
