Hull FC Coffee Corner : Fri Apr 23, 2021 11:07 am
Watched the Josh Griffin one recently. Quite interesting to be honest.
Some insights into the club as well

Worth a look if you get chance. Think I’ll watch the Jake Connor one next.

Watching the Griffin one now. Really positive news that he's wants to stay at Hull and earn a 2 year contract.

I thought it was revealing that he struggled with the travelling and the effect it had with his family until he moved nearer to Hull (Hessle). I wonder if our location must be a disadvantage signing players from West Yorkshire and Lancashire. No smart remarks about it's not just the location please!!

I've said all along that the physical location of Hull is our undoing when signing some players, and moving across to the area is essential unless they're really happy to travel. I moved to Cas 7 years ago and it's not until you move away from Hull that you realise just how far out on a limb Hull really is, that A63 goes on forever! Being more central ie Leeds opens up far more for a player and provides so many options teams wise.

Jake Connor one is very good as well, just watched that one.
Seems happy under BH. Looks like BH is developing a close bond between the players as well.

Griffin had offers from Saints and Wire as well, before he signed for us. Some really interesting things have come out in the couple I’ve seen.

Well done to the club for arranging.

Very good watch. A revealing insight from the players own words rather than the usual Pravda like write-ups.

He didn’t say. He did say he’s very happy, and that usually translates onto the field for him.
Seems happy with BH, and has also just had a child, so seems happy away from rugby as well.
Also talks about his change of mind when he first signed for us. Interesting.

Thanks, I wish they would officially get his contract done.
