Round 4 v Wakefield : Sun Apr 18, 2021 5:42 pm
Obviously they have the 2 day turnaround advantage; interesting match up. I would stick with today's line up, maybe bring Johnstone in to rest Houghton, hopefully Sao back and either a forward or Scott to drop out of the 17.

Not sure what to make of Wakefield so far, they ran Leeds close in round 1 but have been woeful since. They’ll be targeting this game and Johnstone will be dangerous considering our relative lack of pace.

Strange bench decisions today
Brown only did minimal minutes
Scott unused

Leeds have their own problems just now though. I don't think running them close is any indication of being a good side by any means.

Wakefield look a poor team, and they have done for a while now. They have only won 9 of their last 40, and one of those wins was scraping past Bradford in the cup. On top of that their most dangerous player (Johnstone) will be missing. Anything other than a routine win would be a disappointing result.

If we are seriously going to compete this season, this should be a routine win. No reason why this won’t happen. The game against Warrington was always going to be tough, but I’m expecting we’ll respond to today’s indifferent performance with a solid win on Friday.

I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

Fonua on the bench for me and maybe play Johnstone and give Houghton a rest after that mammoth stint
