My impression yesterday was that the players seem to be buying into BH’s ethos. The heads never went down and we kept playing. Some of that defensively must be in some way related to being coached by Gaz Ellis.
No doubt he’s still learning the ropes , but he must be one of those that when he speaks, players listen.

The one thing baffling me is having Cameron Scott on the bench, we played with three subs yesterday.
Great to see how the defence has improved.
Not BH fault but the squad is unbalanced and hopefully he will sort it next season

Should have put Johnstone onthe bench.

Total waste to not use a sub , particularly in a tight defensive game that was 90 minutes

Unless the plan was to move Griffin to second row at some point but then Lane was having a stormer so the move never materialised.

Still early days, but very promising signs, defence looks very good and attack good in patchs.

Already 3 more points than last year

First time we've not lost in the opening three rounds since 2009 (least said about the rest of that season the better) and only the third time since our debut in Super League in 1998.

Official Super League website now corrected to show us on 83% rather than 66%.
