The problem is it's all time consuming.
I was awake this morning at 4-30am to watch the 3 live games back to back to back.
Finished just in time for me to get a Lucky 15 on and an afternoon watching the racing, followed currently by Cats v Saints followed by the 3rd round of the PGA and then Ive purchased the Josh Taylor lightweight unification fight (Fite TV) with the card starting at 1am Sunday morning. Ring walk for Josh fight predicted at 4am and if he can do the business in time I'll be ready for Rabbitohs v Panthers at 5am followed by Eels v Eagles at 7am.

Works out at around the 28 hour mark of continuous live viewing :D

Grab a bit of kip after that marathon to get psyched for our late teatime game. COYH.

I'm still baffled why Mrs Wizeb went in search of greener pastures.
At least she was safe in the knowledge I was down the pub when I wasn't watching sport.

That's what is called binge watching- great stuff. Will be going to the Panthers game and expecting a really tough afternoon. Don't tell anybody but I wouldn't be too worried if we lost this one

On Albert his coach interviewed pre game said that he had been really impressed with his performance in Queensland Cup games and was ready for the big stage again. He said he was at his lowest weight for over 3 years.
This much trimmer Albert certainly did the job for him.

Looks a pleasant afternoon in Dubbo Fred, hope you're enjoying.
Doesn't look like the Panthers have many worries early doors. They are looking a juggernaut.
Could they go the season unbeaten?

He did a good job for Walters and his furrowed brow.

Looking forward to see how Albert gets on shortly in his second game back.
Leading the Broncos out in NRL indigenous week.
Only got the Storm in opposition.
Should be a breeze.

I have lost interest

Re: Albert Kelly : Thu May 27, 2021 11:21 pm
His first 3 touches were AWFUL. He looked bewildered on that first hit. Poor fella.
Actually, he looks like he did at FC at the end. If you watch him in the CC final for FC, he was AMAZING and such a joy to watch.
Once again I am convinced that the horrific concussion he got in 2019-20, I think it was, has seriously affected him.

Still a class above esp in Super league

Will take him time he's played best 2 teams in the comp

That said though the NRL is Weakest it's been for decades imo players like Thurston, Slater, inglis, cronk, Smith etc all retiring at the same time

You only have to look at the origin sides very weak compared to 10 years ago

Albert about to play game number 3 for the Broncos.
Very decent first game, poor in the second, think he'll have to do better this morning or Walters will sideline him again and think he'll find it very hard to get another opportunity.

The referee's indecision is final

Don't think it was all his fault in the second game. Their pack was second best, even Haas was off his game.

They are very strong in some positions but unusual for Australia they seem weak in several positions, centre and both middles and edge forwards, once you take out a couple of the headline acts. Look at how many fullbacks have to fill in at centre for example

Good watch this.
Albert has put all 3 Broncos tries on a plate for his side.
Dufty is rapid.

Complete nonsense, some of the best rugby I’ve seen, last couple of seasons, I remember when people used to say sl was more entertaining and the nrl was 5 drives and kick, in an era of all those players you mentioned, the skill level in the nrl as never been better
