He continues to divide fans but I have long since decided that some people see the world completely differently. For me, Ellis is the best player I have seen at our club. His consistently high performance levels are unmatched. He was missed last year after his injury and he would be missed next year if he moves on.
He's got enough time in now for me to class him as best I've seen. We are 2 totally different teams. A team with Ellis in. A team with Ellis out.
On top of that he the toughest player I've seen. In real time video and every where. That injury keeps 21 year olds out longer. At his age I thought he was done from the second he hit the floor. He's come back and for me he's currently player of the year. Only Houghton n Shaul near too him. He was in my top 2 in both games at weekend. On a 3 day turn around at 34 after that injury. A warrior of a man and a true leader of men!
