I for one agree that the quota should be reduced but not yet!....i would reduce it after the 3 years of licencing has passed and clubs are more established with a better youth development system

Then in 3 years time teams will then be saying we need a bit more time and so on.
Why wait till the first period of franchising is over? I just cannot see any benefits for it to be extended, well not for our team anyway.

the whole point of reducing the quota spot is to force the teams to enocurage the youth development and not rely on bringing players in. By delaying it is simply allowing teams to cope with not using youth as much and if teams do struggle in the short term its ok as there is no relegation due to the franchise. this is the whole point of the franchise in my opinion to allow for improvement in the long term. thats how i see it anyway....
