Great move, never rated McIntosh, briscoe great at making metres out of backfield too which is what we badly need

Agree Briscoe better just he is older but Mac not been great so god deal for me. Martin and Barron can learn off Tom.

Obviously, I’ve not included a few youth players who probably won’t be ready for first team IMO.

We need 7-8 additions to our 17 and then a further 3 to give our squad depth. And that’s Assuming Balmforth & Jack brown stay.

If Okunbor leaves that does give us opportunity to bring in another back rower but my gut says he stays. Gardner can go to play in the champ and laidlow needs to go out on loan and prove his quality. I’d probably try send severs & Jebson/Armstrong out again as-well.

Cheap on the cap. He's an experience outside back to help the young kids too. Probably his biggest plus is he's still decent out of backfield, Mcintosh getting battered on play 1 and 2 doesnt fo anyone any favours. I can see the upside

Darnell on 100k too I was told when he first signed, which shows the mis-management of the cap we have had. Briscoe will be on half that

Briscoe is doing a PHD in sports & exercise science. My guess is they’re bringing him in with an eye on an off field role

[EDIT] He played 32 out of 33 games last season.
