That’s one of the problems being near the foot of the table. You do have to pay over the odds to sign players otherwise they have little or no incentive to join up you. We used to experience that to our cost.

I think he's well settled there (Australia) - recently, he had a luxury house built on the suburbs of Canberra, so would seem to want to stay on over there after his playing days and , even behind a mighty Eels pack, he has not looked great when I have seen him.

I think he's guilty of trying to do too much at times, which he had to do when he was at Rovers and at Canberra as the halves weren't dominant. Now he's at Parra he just needs to give Moses and Brown the ball, which doesn't suit his style.

Like you say, he bought a plot of land while at Canberra so does seem settled
