The comment on Satae about wish he was fit was also sarcastic too meant to be a right workhorse and has a great engine

I love the sound of Satae and Sao from what ive heard from Nrl fans both sound a right handful with great workrate

Read a bit on both...lot of fans critical of Kearney regards their game times. They don't get why

Satae had a 3yr deal from Melbourne on the table this time last yr. Now only getting a few games here and there

I think the only way you could slightly appease the fans if Connor did want to go and sign for Leeds for more money and to play halfback (Which I don't get as if he has any ambitions of playing in the NRL, if would only be at centre IMO and he best chance to continue playing for England is at centre) would be to sign Fonua as Connor replacement.

Brings to mind a previous international centre who played for Hull and went to Leeds where he played at 6. His career rose to new heights for club, England and Gt Britain. Saw him out here play for Gt Britain in an Ashes series where, as captain, he produced one of the most dominating performances I have ever seen by a GB player for a comprehensive win in Melbourne. Had a couple of good spells in Aus at 2 clubs too.

Didn't know the full background for his departure from Hull but I believe the club were in some form of financial stress at the time.

I think and hope those days are over, but if a player wants to leave, the power is more less all with him as there is no much you can do about it, so if this move did heappne, I think it would be because of the players desire to move to Leeds rather than financially.

As it stands I cannot see why he would want to leave Hull for Leeds at this time, they look a way off challenging and dont have a coach in place. I think he will stay at Hull until the end of his contract (2021) then maybe move to the NRL or another club, if we aren't challenging again.

Hi Fred. Prior to Schofield’s departure to play for West’s, his agent agreed terms and he signed up. Whilst in Oz, he found out what the Oz players were getting and tried to renegotiate. FC had prior agreed to let him stay with the Tigers till the end of their season, which he did. On his return he refused to play for Hull until they agreed new terms. FC stuck to their agreed deal and I believe he was sold to Leeds in October. Hence the original “Judas”. Great player and a pity he didn’t finish his career at Hull.

A strange thing for Hull FC to tweet today if he's signed for Leeds, but maybe it's a farewell:

On this day...

Three years ago today, the Hull FC announced the signing of Jake Connor from Huddersfield!

Tell us your favourite moments from Jake 'The Snake' in a Black & White shirt!
