Imagine starting with Mini and Manu and then when one of them goes off, on comes Frank.

What effect will that have on opposition teams?

I would start with Frank and Manu and bring Mini off the bench for his spells.

Mini is more of a runner than Frank.

Agreed and I'm not saying he should play 80 minutes every week. Especially with our options in the back row.

But he should start imo and is more than capable of playing the full 80 minutes if required.

But frank through sheer size takes defenders. When already tired asking opposition to really commit again is gonna create space. Add in that they don't know if he'll pass run offload I just think in this league he'll be more effective off the bench.
With a back row of frank mini and manu is fine in any combo I'd say. Just personally feel with his personal attributes and the SL standard of opposition centres n back rows compared to the nrl and the more open less defensive style he'll be unplayable at times if you throw him in fresh against defenders already blowing
In the modern game benches have become a bit robotic and functional. A x factor player who can change the course or momentum of a game would be a massive advantage.
I'd like Taylor off the bench too and feka as his small mins wouldn't matter as 3 of Taylor watts Ellis have big mins so he could just up the tempo and bring some urgancy. Then abdull for some nous later.
The pack is very tasty imo and many combos. Hooker is really the only worry. Seems a few teams have this problem tho

I'd imagine mini pritchard n manu as back 3. Abdull doing a spell at 13 during games prob back end of each half after the sting taken out.
Another option would be a 3 rd prop at 13 for the opening spell with pritchard off the bench and manu pushing into the middle. Which I'd like.
I think pritchard in this league off the bench 20 or so min in would be tremendous

Agree with all this, Abdull could easily do a spell at 13 in our monster pack, brings something different to, could easily change a game, having a plan B as something we've seriously struggled with

If there is an offer on the table from another club Pearson should accept it, thanks Westerman for his efforts and part company.

We are overloaded in the pack.

The transfer fee / free'd up cap space should either put put on a top class Centre or on an attacking coach.

Seems like a reasonable stance to take.

If true embarrassing for Pearson:

http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/Hull-FC- ... story.html

Pearson remains steadfast in his determination to keep hold of the FC star, with Hull's owner saying he is surprised to hear talk of an exit for Westerman.

"There's been no interest in Joe from any clubs and we've no interest in him leaving," Pearson told the Mail.

"We are committed to extending his contract. He's a big part of our plans moving forward."

Sounds reasonable to me too but if the club's finances are as bad as we are led to believe Pearson might feel unable to spend the transfer fee on playing or coaching staff and might decide not to spend the spare cap.

We have no quota spots left so a new centre would have to be a UK based or Fed trained player. Who is available who is good enough?
