Pearson's idea of what constitutes as top player is vastly different to mine, I'm still waiting for the 8 top internationals we signed back in 2012 to show up

Really? International. Good try record. Big strong. Check the vid of him jumping in goal to get the ball back in field just like inglis a few back Or the one of him outpacing barba from the left centre position. Which I imagine he would play for us.
this would be a great signing given his age as well

I'd imagine the fact that we are looking to keep Michaels and some reserve half from Newcastle, says we have again missed out on our primary backs.

Deadline day today, don't expect us to do anything, shame we can't get any if our signings for next year (not Washbrook) here early to give us a boost.

Surely the club must be tempted to announce a signing for next year as a timely boost.

We've got a fortnight off now and after last night the club needs to do something to spark the fans' interest before the 8's start.
