Toulouse looking good and have one foot in the Super League.

9,000 at the Million Pound Game in Toulouse today and they are hopeful of more next season.

Would be a welcome addition to a Super League. Even their band sounds better than other clubs.

A full pre season for Mitch.,work on his speed as i think he has the ability to add a bit of extra pace to his game and he will challenge for a first team spot

Brilliant for the top flight. Is the plan still to reduce to 10? Lost track of proposals status.

Toulouse seem to be built on firm foundations as well.

Rumour is bottom 3 down next year . 1 up to make 2 divisions of 10 , for 2023.

A great night for the sport but knowing our luck we'll have either Catalans or Toulouse away in a loop fixture meaning three trips to the south of France (maybe more given the Cup and play offs). [I realiase that they'll both have many more long trips].

The memories are probably still too fresh. I don’t think it’d be well aligned with the 2 x 10 proposals (to the limited extent they’ve been revealed and I understand them).

Also last time, it was accompanied by going from 12 to 14 in the top flight. Very different kettle of political fish going from 12 to 10.

I guess the top 20 itself could be seen as a type of franchising, if there is no P&R with the third level. Or just no third level, which’d be a bit sad.

Then surely it would have been beneficial to have been relegated this season and promoted again next to avoid the the trap door in 2022. Leigh appear to have played a blinder.
