In his time at Rovers, he has taken them upwards. If rumour is to believed, he was not always responsible for signings. To leave Rovers in a position where they have a chance of again making the playoffs, and some decent youth coming through, I would say is success. He may be a bit egotistical, but I would have him as coach. IMO, he has taken Rovers to be level with us. We have gone backwards, but from where Rovers where, this is an amazing success.

He'll possibly leave them with their 3rd consecutive year in the playoffs and 4th out of only 5 top flight seasons in the top 8. Given the different circumstances they have both had to deal with, I'd say he has done a much better job than the rugby league Rain Man we have.

I'm not an advocate of him getting the Hull job, but neither would I say that his performance at Rovers shows he is incapable of regular top 4 finishes if given a chance at a bigger club. He has done a very good job there, it's just come to a natural end.

No, I honestly hope AP sets his goal higher....I want a proven coach, although Morgan has done a good job at KR he has won nothing so far.

On the John Kear thing, I actually think John makes a good pundit and I think maybe that is where his career may well lay, although Stevo talks pants I got to admit I am one of the few who like him

I doubt Morgan would come here, but I would welcome him, I think he could really improve us.

He has done an amazing job in his time at Rovers, his recruitment has been very good, much better than ours over the last few years, one major problem for him is the involvment of the board, I'm sure that this wouldn't happen at Hull with Pearson.

I think Rovers are making a big mistake letting him leave.
