Connor never does it against top teams. Wigan arnt a top team there rubbish. Plus Connor is never a fullback slow can't tackle rubbish.

I said at the game, I am so glad he plays for us, every team in SL would want Connor in their team, you sometimes don't know what you've got till you lose it. We should celebrate Jake and enjoy every moment. What a player, we will go from strength to strength this season.

My pre-season hope of a winning home record and to make the play offs in a rebuilding season is coming to fruition, happy days. And I have to say 3pm weekend kick offs are fantastic.

To be fair to Jake all the talk that he never does it against the top teams is harsh for me. At FB he's never going to be a player that can single handedly beat a team as he isn't speedster like Field. Whilst he is an exceptional talent and one I'm glad we have playing for rather than against us he like many players needs others to step up too. For me when Jake doesn't appear to perform in most cases its always when the likes of 6,7 & 9 are poor and he's not alone in that.

His try assists this season show what he can do and how dangerous he is even when he only gets half decent ball, I think when the rest of the team aren't performing we all expect him to be still be able to turn a game on its head on his own as we know how good he is. One area I think he could improve is when things aren't going so well as a team he needs to learn to be more level headed, rather than letting his frustration get the better of him and then trying too hard to do it all, but that's Jake isn't it and his desire to win.

I'd take a slight lack of speed and ordinary defence for how good he is the opposition 20.

He frightens teams when he gets 30 yds from the line. Mine you he frightens me sometimes with those passes lol. Still wouldn't change him.

Sunday still has to be the best day for me but the club have trialed Saturday afternoons now with success so i guess we will see a mixture of Saturday and Sunday matches.
Much better of course for away supporters when travelling to Hull

But that's the reason he won't play at full back for England

Against the aussies you need to be spot on defensively ie great last ditch tackles etc

He's good with ball in hand and sets up plenty of trys

But his lack of pace and defence is a big problem
