She's hardly 'in the public eye'. She's an employee of the club and most, if not all, of the work she does is behind closed doors. Are you saying that anyone who works for a professional sports club is fair game for (as yet) unsubstantiated rumour and speculation about their capabilities?

It's not about having a 'tender soul', it's about a person's right to carry out their duties without a load of untrained people speculating as to whether they are any good without one iota of evidence either way. If it is proven that she's done something wrong - that is by someone at least as qualified as her - that's one thing, but all we have at the moment is rumour and gossip.
